Introduction to PeopleSoft nVision Reporting
Instructor: Tiffany Gilmore Soublet
Designed for first-time users to nVision, this workshop will provide an understanding of the basic components of nVision reports for budget and expenditure reporting. Topics will include: accessing PeopleSoft via Citrix, accessing nVision reports by department and by grant, and viewing and understanding summary and detail for budgeted, pre-encumbered, encumbered, and expenditure transactions. Basic Excel functions and features that support the use of nVision will be demonstrated. Recommended for any staff or faculty member responsible for tracking departmental budgets or grants.

Intermediate PeopleSoft nVision Reporting

This workshop is an advanced session and intended for users who are currently working with nVision. This session will cover the less frequently used, yet very effective, drill options: Account by Period, Account by Department, Department by Period, and Journal ID/Descr. Participants will also learn how to organize the data retrieved using Excel functions and features.

Basic Navigation PeopleSoft Version 9.0 Upgrade

Receiving in PeopleSoft Version 9.0 (New Functionality)
Instructor: Latoyia Gafeney
This workshop is designed for users who have been appointed to receive goods online within a specific department or organization. All participants will learn the procedure for receiving(processing) an item(invoice) by reading the information available on the Match Exception reports that are received daily via email. The receiving process ensures the vendor will receive timely payments for goods. We will cover inquiring on a Purchase Order, receiving a partial shipment, receiving a complete shipment, receiving a regular purchase order verses a blanket or verbal purchase order, correcting an item after it has been received, canceling a receipt line or a receipt, inquiring on existing receipts, viewing payments and viewing contract, bid, requisition and invoice documents.
