PeopleSoft Financials is a financial information management system the Financial Services Division uses to process The University of New Orleans financial data in a timely and efficient manner. The modules included in the application is Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing, Asset Management, General Ledger and eProcurement.
PeopleSoft Financials is used by The University of New Orleans Financial Services Division to process financial transactions. The system provide departments with real time online data to manage their financial information.
Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari are compatible with PeopleSoft.
To access PeopleSoft bookmark https://finserv.uno.edu/finprd/signon.html You will be prompted to login with your LAN username and password.
PeopleSoft Financials is Web-based and you do not need to login to your remote desktop or use any special software to access the data on or off campus. If you have an Internet connection then you can access the database by clicking on the link above.
Navigating the PeopleSoft environment is similar to navigating any common website. The application is made up of expandable menu items and hyperlinks. To minimize the amount of time it takes to access the menu items the application allows you to add your most frequently visited pages to the Favorites menu item. When you access the search or transactional page, click on the Add to Favorites link in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Your browser keeps a copy of the pages you access in "cache" so that the page is loaded quicker the next time you access it. When the pages are in the cache, it may be difficult to access those pages. If you cannot access a page for any reason, first ensure that you have permissions to access that page. All pages are accessed based on your security level. Secondly, clear your cache by navigating to your Internet Options on your tool bar and delete the temporary internet files.
You may need to turn off your Pop-up blockers. To turn off your pop-up blockers click on the link to view a short video demonstration. Once you turn off your pop-up blockers follow the procedures to view the invoice image.
